All teams that have registered in the official registration window have a guaranteed starting spot. The remaining spots will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

For the first time in 2023, the German Championships in Mixed (Heidelberg) and Women's/Men's (Hamburg) will be held on different dates and locations.

The most important points summarized here:

96 mixed teams will be able to participate. The top 16 teams by added RGX team score will automatically qualify for the main round on Saturday afternoon. This leaves 80 teams to play the remaining 16 teams for the main round in a qualifier on Saturday morning, so 32 teams will compete there and fight for the title. The remaining 64 teams will play for victory in two knockout brackets on Saturday afternoon. The knockout round as well as final matches of the pro bracket will take place on Sunday.

On Sunday, all players will have the opportunity to participate in a PremierSpike 3vs3 fun tournament in Swiss system.

Registration modalities

Every RG member with German citizenship can register. The places will be allocated according to sporting criteria, as described in the article on the website. The following criteria must be fulfilled for participation in the German Championships 2023:

- German citizenship

- Membership of Roundnet Germany e.V. (must already be available at the time of registration)

- Sporting qualification 

The registration window will be open between Monday, June 5, 2023 and Monday, June 12, 2023.

If not all places are filled during this period, the remaining places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. German citizenship and membership of Roundnet Germany e.V. remain a prerequisite.

Roundnet Heidelberg is proud to present the largest Mixed DM in an unprecedented format. Enjoy two days full of Roundnet and good encounters. A beach area with side games, tasty drinks and pools will be waiting for you. PremierSpike will also present a barefoot pickup area. Also, be excited to experience Roundnet in an unprecedented way as a spectator!

Saturday

- Registration (7:45-8:15)

- Qualification round: 16 groups of 5 teams each (9:00-12:00)

- Pro Bracket group stage: 16 top teams + 16 seeded teams, 4 groups of 8 teams each (13:00-16:30)

- Upper Bracket + Lower Bracket: 32 teams each (13:00-19:00)

Sunday

- Pro Bracket: 32 teams (9:00-17:00; finals from 15h)

- PremierSpike 3vs3 Fun Tournament: open to all who want to play (you can win a set of PS; 9:30-13:00)

Catering

For Saturdays Lunch, a bowl from Compleat will be included in the tournament fee. Also snacks (fruit, bars) will be included on both days.

Optionally, there is the possibility to take advantage of our breakfast offer on Saturday morning and Sunday morning for 5€ per day. Saturday evening we have negotiated with the local restaurant and can offer you a salad bar with grilled cheese and potato wedges for 7€ per bowl. For 9€ you can also order a bowl for Sunday to be provided with lunch.

Overnight stay

Roundnet Heidelberg is happy to welcome you either on the campground close to the campsite or on the couches of the community. You can check out the couches of the community at the playerzone.
