Potsdam Masters 2024!
After the eight-armed Summersmash 2023 at the latest, Roundnet Germany knows: Potsdam can tournament!
Your LiLa-Lieblings club invites you back to the wonderful state capital and keeps the motto: warm summer breeze on your skin, three artificial pitches full of roundnet-crazy people and a great aftershow party with bassy beats! Come to your favourite feel-good oasis and enjoy the first Outdoor Masters of this tournament season.
If you arrive on Friday, 17 May 2024, you can explore the paradisiacal parks and the cultural Potsdam palace landscape (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the balmy May sunshine. In the evening, there will be a pick-up pizza evening together in good style!
On the next two tournament days, you can expect the complete 15 divisions with a total of 250+ teams and an awesome after-show party with the specially flown-in electronic dance music artists @djtechtonic and @ansgar__bartel aka Erebos. It's going to be wild.

Registration:
Registration starts 6 weeks before the tournament with a registration phase from Monday 6 am to Thursday 6 pm. This is followed by a first draw phase in which half of the minimum places in a division are drawn from all teams in which both players have not yet taken part in a Masters tournament. This is followed by draw II, in which all remaining starting places are drawn between all teams, including the teams that were not drawn in draw I. About the pitch surface:
The following regulations must be observed for the different surfaces:
Beginner & Contender/Pro Divisions will probably play on a long-hair artificial turf pitch and the Intermediate & Advanced Divisions on two hockey artificial turf pitches (modern short carpet).
IMPORTANT:
Beginner and Contender/Pro Divisions: no aluminium studs, otherwise multi-studs and studs allowed
Intermediate and Advanced: no studs and no aluminium studs, multi-studs and smooth soles permitted. The grip on the court is great.

Car: We are currently putting together parking options for you, but these are all within walking distance (max. 15 min.) of the sports park. Short unloading of luggage/tents/fun/good mood is possible on site.
Public transport: We naturally recommend travelling by train, as our Alter Tornow bus stop can be reached from Potsdam main station in just 6 minutes on bus line 607 towards Ferch or 694 towards Küsselstraße.
Alternatively, a leisurely 20-minute walk is also a great team experience. <3
Catering:
The doors of the "Belvedere" restaurant will be open to us for the entire tournament weekend. Our beloved Santino has put together a delicious selection of culinary pasta hits together with us. You can choose from one of the following dishes in advance:
G1: Pasta al Pomodoro (vegan)
G2: Pasta Verdure (vegan)
G3: Pasta tofu + tomato sauce (vegan)
G4: Pasta con Pollo (meat)
If you don't want any lunch provided, the tournament fee will be lowered by 7€ per meal.
Zero waste addition:
If possible, we ask you to bring your own Tupperbox, cutlery and cups for the days so that we produce as little waste as possible (paper plates, cups, etc.).
Overnight accommodation:
The priority this year will again be couchsurfing with your Oktos & Eagles. We also have the option of using the meadows directly on the sports grounds as pitches for tents. There will also be possibilities for car/camper pitches. So no matter if tent, camper or couchsurfing at Okto & Eagle - friends in Potsdam or Berlin - we will get you accommodated. As usual, we will set up a "Couchsurfing Mail" where you can contact us as soon as the luck of the draw has decided in your favour.
Cancellation Policy:
1. An registered team can cancel up to 21 days before the tournament without providing any reasons and will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
2. If canceled up to 14 days before the tournament start, the canceling team will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
3. If a team cancels less than 14 days before the tournament start, and the registration slot remains vacant, the team will not receive any refund.
4. If the canceled team's slot can be filled by a substitute team, the canceling team will receive a full refund.
Solidarity Surcharge:
