Rule testing at this tournament - Information below
This tournament is being used to test the IRF rule experiments. The goal is to identify the best changes for our game. The rule tests will be applied on both days (out of bounce only for Open Pro & Contender/Pro Women – all players are encouraged and required to read and understand the new rules before the tournament begins!

‼️The out-of-bounds rule will only be tested on Saturday for Open Pro and Womens Contender/Pro.
The other divisions will play with all other rules from rule set A, but won’t have out-of-bounds zones.
(Otherwise we would need to limit the number of participants further and could not offer appropriate division sizes).
🍚Catering:
Thanks to the two official partners of Roundnet Germany, you will receive a free drink from yfood and a Krombacher Spezi.
Lunch as well as some fruits and bars are included in the tournament fee. For lunch we will offer rice bowls you can customize yourself.

💰Payment:
Teams are requested to transfer the tournament fee within 14 days of registration. Please indicate division and team name as the purpose of payment.

🧾 Cancellation policy:
- A registered team can cancel up to 21 days before the tournament without giving reasons and will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
- Up to 14 days before the start of the tournament, the cancelling team will be refunded 50% of the registration fee.
- If a team cancels less than 14 days before the start of the tournament and the registration place remains free, the team will not be refunded any money.
- If the place of the cancelling team can be filled by a subsequent team, the cancelling team will receive a full refund.
📮Registration:
The Lottery Pot will be open from monday march 10th 2025 till thursday march 13th 2025. After that normal for open spots will be posible.

Rule Set A (Link):

Out of Bounds – Field Boundary with a 7.5m Radius
If the ball lands outside the field boundary with its full circumference after being hit by the attacking team, it results in a loss of point for the attacking team. If it touches the boundary line, it is considered legal.
Der Ball darf vom verteidigenden Team auch außerhalb der Spielfeldbegrenzung weitergespielt werden. -
No Same Hand Toss
Bei der Angabe darf der Ball nicht mit der gleichen Hand angeworfen und geschlagen werden. -
3 Contacts on First Possession
On the first possession after a serve, the ball may not be hit onto the net on the first or second touch. -
Teammates Free to Move
The teammate of the player serving is free to move outside the service line as soon as "Service" is called.
The teammate of the receiving player may move straight backward along a line outside the service line. -
Simultaneous Contacts
If both teammates touch the ball simultaneously during the first contact of a rally, it counts as one touch. The ball may touch multiple body parts consecutively as long as it is part of one motion.
The next contact may not be played onto the net. Instead, the ball must first be set by one of the teammates.

Hey, ich hab eine (leider etwas kritische, sorry <3 ) Frage zum Thema, dass die „Aus-Regel“ für fast alle Divisions nicht gelten soll:
Ihr schreibt ja, dass mit der Regel die Divisions zu klein wären. Ihr meint damit vermutlich, dass nicht genügend Platz für die Anwendung der Regel wäre.
Das verstehe ich insofern nicht, als dass doch eine BEGRENZUNG des Spielfeldes nicht dazu führen kann, dass mehr Platz benötigt wird, sondern eher im Gegenteil. Dass sich Spielfelder auf Turnieren überschneiden war im Roundnet schon immer so und sollte auch mit Linien kein größeres, sondern ein kleineres Problem sein.
Ein anderes Thema ist der Abstand zur Wand, aber auch hier sehe ich kein Problem: Man malt die Linien soweit wie es geht und wenn dann halt ne Wand „im Weg“ ist, gibts an der Stelle halt keine Linie, sondern ggf. nen Redo im Spiel.
Ich bin mir dessen bewusst, dass ihr euch mit Sicherheit schon super viele Gedanken gemacht habt und das vielleicht nervt das Thema hier nochmal aufzumachen. Aber ich finde es für die Entwicklung des Sportes super wichtig, dass Regeln vollständig und auf allen Niveaus getestet werden. (gerade weil die Auslinie meiner Meinung nach die wichtigste Änderung in dem Paket darstellt)

04. Mar, 20:49herstmal vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Super wichtig, dass wir über solche Dinge transparent reden können.
Das Problem liegt an mehren Stellen. Wie du gesagt hast am Platz, aber auch zu großen Teilen an der vorgebenden Größe von Divisionen bei Masters. Hinzu kommt, dass Masters so konzipiert sind, dass man möglichst viele Divisions anbieten will, um die breite Masse zu erreichen. Das alles gepaart mit der Situation Halle.
Wir haben uns lange Gedanken gemacht, auf was wir bei dem Master wert legen wollen. Alle Punkte können wir leider nicht erfüllen.
Wir haben uns auch mit Roundnet Germany und die mit der IRF abgestimmt und fahren da eine gemeinsame Linie.
Vielen Dank dir für dein Verständnis und hoffentlich sieht man sich trotzdem in München.

Mar, 22:20hhier noch eine kleine Ergänzung vom Turnierreferat zu dem, was Kristof schon beschrieben hat: Du hast völlig Recht damit, dass es auf den ersten Blick keinen Sinn ergibt, dass für die Spielfeldbegrenzungen mehr Platz benötigt wird. Die Limitation liegt hier jedoch seitens der IRF, die eine maximale Überschneidung der Out-of-bounds Linien von 2 Metern erlaubt. Um dies in der Halle umsetzen zu können, hätte die Anzahl der Netze und somit die Anzahl der Anmeldeplätze stark reduziert werden müssen. Ich stimme dir außerdem zu, dass es super wichtig ist, die neuen Regeln auf allen Niveaus zu testen. Da es sich bei dem Masters in München aber um das einzige Hallen-Masters handelt und damit auch um das einzige Turnier, bei dem die Problematik auftaucht, haben wir uns für diesen Weg entschieden. Auf allen anderen Masterturnieren und den (hoffentlich) zahlreichen weiteren der Sommersaison werden die Out-of-bounds Regeln in allen Divisions getestet.
