Defensive Touch
Defensively, you reach the ball when it comes right at you or when it is hit high.
You reach the ball on defense even if the opposing team plays the ball into a gap between you and your team partner or the ball bounces far and high out of the net.
You always try to cover the strongest hand or the strongest hit of the attacking person and get some balls that way. You make a good block or touch every now and then and you get high balls quickly and safely.
You always put the attackers under pressure with your defense and get a lot of balls - even against the top teams.
