With a good set, you score a safe point more than 85% of the time. You recognize gaps and use them. You are able to finish with both hands or with the backhand and have a good flick shot.
A good set is almost always converted into a point. You can adjust your attacking shots at the last second, depending on where the defense is or how the ball is placed. You can also hit poorly set balls deadly onto the net.
