Strength, speed, precision and a technique that inspires - these are just a few of the characteristics that describe Theresa's style of play. With podium finishes at every tournament she has competed in and the RG Player of the Year (f) award in 2023, Theresa is probably the most successful woman in Germany at the moment. Whether on or off the pitch, she impresses with her calm and positive character and therefore complements the national team not only as a player but also personally.

Ronja Lorenz
Ronja Lorenz, 29
Roundnet Stuttgart
info
Ronja was also part of the national team at the first World Championship in 2022. Back then, she was still a newcomer in the role of an alternate, but now she is not only a permanent member of the German national team, but is also without question one of the absolute elite of the roundnet world. After a 2nd place and an extremely strong final performance at the STS Championships 2023, she showed this year with new team partners, among other things with a 2nd place at the Cologne Trophy and above all with a dominant victory at the ETS Bologna, that she more than deserved these results and also her nomination with her performance.

Roundnet Rabbits Regensburg
info
The Regensburg native may not have been on everyone's radar in recent years, but since this winter at the latest, the defense machine has arrived at the absolute elite in Germany thanks to her athletic style of play. She has already won the 1. Roundnet Bundesliga with her team this year and celebrated tournament successes in Cologne and Regensburg as a duo. She also achieved strong results in Leuven (Belgium) and Kiel this year, all without a permanent team partner. Her unique style of play, her qualities as an absolute team player and her flexibility will be important assets for the German team.

Paul Siemer
Paul Siemer, 25
1. Roundnet Club Köln
info
Paul Siemer is a man who can't lose - in two ways. Anyone who has ever actually seen Paul lose, knows that it's best to leave him alone for a while. At the same time, he has 30 tournament wins in his Roundnet career, and that's just the ones registered in Playerzone. Not even a 6-month trip around the world could interrupt his winning streak. Paul brings the complete skillset to the net and proves himself time and time again as one of the best, if not the best, roundnet player in Europe. Together with his partner Lukas, their aim this year is to conquer the world's elite.

Paul Schirop
Paul Schirop, 35
Karlsruher Kojoten
info
Paul is anything but new to the sport and has shown himself at the top from time to time. Through the fresh acquisition of a very constant serving pressure, he has rounded off his skillset and convinces without exception with positive energy, consistency in all facets and exemplary team capability. With Paul as a teammate, you have a rock at your side who fights to the very last point and motivates you to give all you've got. We are delighted to have Paul as part of the team.

Jonathan Harder
Jonathan Harder, 18
Westwood Tweener Roundnet
info
Bang, bang, bang! Nothing has been heard more often around the nets where Jonathan was present this year. Our youngster has taken part in almost every tournament Roundnet Europe has to offer this year and has never disappointed with his performances. Joni's arsenal of weapons from the serving line will be familiar to most people from social media, but we assure you: It looks the same in real life! However, the social media celebrity has made huge strides in all areas of the game and that's why it's impossible to imagine the team without him! We're already looking forward to all the reels that will be created in London and hope not to be marked too often for all opponents, which usually means nothing good...

Emil Grönebaum
Emil Grönebaum, 23
Red Eagles - Roundnet Berlin
info
Emil is celebrating his German national team debut this year and will be supporting our team in London. The cheerful Berliner is almost always in a good mood, celebrates everything and everyone for cool plays and always gives you the feeling of being at home at the net. Unfortunately, Emil is not quite so nice to his opponents when it comes to distributing points and impresses with his extreme athleticism in finishing and receiving. His variance in serving rounds off Emil's skillset perfectly and makes him one of the most dangerous all-rounders in Europe! With his good mood, which can only be spoiled by terrible positional play in defense, Emil will infect the team and ensure a positive atmosphere even in the rain in London.

Rasmus Prüfer
Rasmus Prüfer, 23
Red Eagles - Roundnet Berlin
info
Rasmus is celebrating his national team debut this year and absolutely deserves it! When the Berliner is on the serving line, nobody on this planet is safe from a break. But it's not just his serving, but above all his extremely well-developed technique in setting and hitting that makes his opponents quickly realize that he is anything but a pure serveballer! Rasmus will hit like a truck at the World Championships and the only question is whether he will get more defensive touches than his opponents will get their hands on the ball when receiving!
close
Peer Kanis
Red Eagles - Roundnet Berlin
info
Especially in mixed, Peer shows time and time and again why he is one of the best in this division with his unique style of play. With his gravity-defying acrobatics, tireless speed and serves that you would never have thought possible before, it sometimes feels like you're watching a cartoon when he's standing at the net (or in the air). Peer already represented Germany in the mixed at the last World Championships and we are proud to have him back in the team, stronger than ever before after an injury last year.

Tim Klement
Tim Klement, 24
Roundnet Ravens Marburg
info
The former tennis player has put in another remarkable performance at the net this year and has more than earned his promotion from substitute to permanent squad member. Few are as ambitious and motivated as Tim, who always proves this with his ambitious, dynamic defensive style and communicative charisma. With Tim as a team partner, you can rely on numerous touches, precise sets, ice-cold finishes and powerful serves. BAMM!

Lucas Christiani
Lucas Christiani, 27
Torpedo Phoenix Roundnet Dortmund
info
You really can't call the Dortmund player a newcomer this year. Lucas looks like he has decades of experience at the top of the European roundnet, both on and off the net, and this has been reflected in his results this year. His consistency and calmness in the game, but above all his extreme flexibility in every situation, make him a perfect team player. We're excited to see how often Lucas ignites at the World Cup and look forward to many signature backhand finishes from our machine from Dortmund!

Julian Krehle
Roundnet Darmstadt
info
Julian has continued to develop his roundnet talent over the years and is now a well respected face in the European roundnet scene. When he plays, he invariably competes for one of the top spots, no matter who else is playing. If not with aces, he breaks his opponents point by point with overshadowing blocks and ice-cold finishes. Julian certainly has nothing to hide at the World Championships.

Josha Lauterbach
Josha Lauterbach, 29
Roundnet Heidelberg beim TSV Handschuhsheim
info
Our exceptional talent from Heidelberg has been extremely impressive this year with consistent performances throughout. Josha's athleticism and his creativity in all game situations make him an extremely unpleasant opponent! His self-confidence and extremely strong will to win would inspire any team and should give us the necessary impulse in tight situations to close out important games. There is basically only one question remaining: how many different serves will Josha show at the World Championship? Answer: Yes!

Fabian Claus
Fabian Claus, 28
Roundnet Raccoons
info
This year, Fabi set a clear goal right from the start: World Championships 2024 in London! As a veteran of the German roundnet elite he still convinces with extreme power in serves and finishes, but this year he has also proven his athletic skills in defense several times! Fabi's mental strength will be an essential part of our recipe for success at the World Cup and if he even hits a reverse in the tournament this year, then nothing stands in the way of the title ru

Lukas Eisenträger
Roundnet 069
info
If anyone is surprised that Lukas is representing Germany at worlds, they clearly know nothing about the sport! He has been on top of European Roundnet for many years, with Corona taking away his chance to compete at the first Roundnet World Championship in 2022. But Lukas has come back stronger than ever and is out for blood with his team partner Paul, eager to put a stop to the North Americans dominating the peak of Roundnet. If one team can do it, it's Lukas with Paul.

After the all-round success of the 2022 World Championships in Molenheide and winning the 2023 European Championships, the coaching team is once again undergoing some major changes, but one important constant in the team remains: JP! The northern light from Kiel is held in high regard by Germany's top players in his role as coach. Anyone who has had the pleasure of experiencing his coaching will have quickly noticed that JP is a tactical genius with a focused, analytical eye. With his authenticity and 100% commitment, he succeeds in offering constructive criticism and encouragement to the players. With Christin as national coach, the federation landed an absolute stroke of luck last year. Not only did she prove her organizational skills in her work in the league department and was able to bring them to the national team, but she also showed what she is capable of with many placings on the podium and a strong 4th place at the German Championships in 2023. The Hildesheim native knows her way around both the women's and mixed game and was able to demonstrate her roundnet expertise at the European Championships, as well as her exemplary connection with the players, who hold her in high regard. It was not least because of her that the title was brought to Germany last year, and this year she is bringing all her skills to bear to help the national team on its way to the World Championships.

As an instructor at the Coach Camp 2023, he contributed his expertise, which he uses on a daily basis as an athletics trainer and senior sports scientist at FSV Frankfurt's youth youth football performance center.
