Moin everyone!

The end of the indoor season is approaching, and with it the start of a great summer tournament season. To give new Roundnet players a chance to get a taste of tournament atmosphere in advance, we would like to invite you very warmly and quite spontaneously to the first Lübeck Litschi Basic Cup!

Here are a few details:

Where?
We will play in the hall of our sports club, Lübecker Turnierschaft von 1854 e.V. The address is: Possehlstraße 5, 23560 Lübeck. There are showers and changing facilities on site.

When?
Saturday, April 6, 2024. Registration will start on-site around 8:30 AM, with the tournament beginning at about 09:45 AM.

Who?
Everyone is welcome in the Basic Open division! The aim is to play against new opponents and have as much fun as possible!

How?
The games will be played indoors. As you might remember from primary school, please wear shoes that do not leave marks ;)

Registration?
Registration is open and will close on Thursday, March 21. Spots will be allocated by a random draw. Depending on the waiting list, we might expand the division. The registration fee for all teams is €30.
Please note: Due to the short registration window, we will not hold this tournament as part of the GRT. Therefore, no RGX points can be awarded. 

Rules:
The tournament will be played according to the official Roundnet Germany rulebook. Details and specifics about playing indoors will be provided on the day of the tournament.

Tournament System:
We will therefore play a group phase (1 set to 21 - HC 25) with 2 groups. After that, we will move on to the knockout phase (3 sets to 15 - HC 21) with placement matches (1 set to 21 - HC 25).

Catering:
Each team will receive a small catering package upon arrival, consisting of drinks (Spoiler: There will be lychee-flavored Bionade), fruit, and cereal bars. A vegan/vegetarian lunch will also be provided. Please remember to bring your own plates and cutlery.

After-Show:
After the awards ceremony, for those who are interested, we will arrange an option for a joint dinner (at your own expense ;)). More information and a survey will be sent out about this as well.

Accommodation and Sleeping Arrangements:
We might be able to provide private accommodation for a few people. Just send us an email about it. Otherwise, we recommend the SCHICKSAAL Hostel on Clemensstraße.
